Yello - Base For Alec
Bio:
When Output boss Trevor Jackson was asked by Yello, a band that he cites as having an even greater musical influence on him than Kraftwerk, to produce a remix for them he was more than happy to oblige…on one condition. Trevor requested that the band permit him to re-release one of his favourite Yello tracks on Output. Originally released in 1982 as a 7” B-Side, ‘Base For Alec’ has been completely remastered and is receiving its first ever 12” release on clear vinyl. Proving that Yello have always been truly ahead of their time, this analogue bass led monster sounds as if it was recorded yesterday and effortlessly slips in with Output’s contemporary catalogue.
