Geoff McIntire's aka Dempsey's eponymous debut album was released in June 2002. The album has two themes Sunrise & Sunset - with Kieran Hebden (Fourtet/Fridge) guesting on the Sunrise side, while Output label boss Trevor Jackson brings his own inimitable style to the Sunset. Throughout it all Dempsey proves himself to be an extremely skilled songwriter and extraordinary personality swaggering through tripped up folk, acid rock loops, smacked out guitar riffs and melancholic strings.
